Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu focuses on getting an opponent to the ground in order to neutralize possible strength or size advantages through ground fighting techniques and submission holds, involving joint-locks and chokeholds. On the ground, physical strength can be offset or enhanced through proper grappling techniques. We are a proud affiliate of Roberto Traven Jiu-Jitsu. Master Traven is a 6th degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with over 30 years of experience in training, competing, and teaching. He is the proud head coach of the Roberto Traven BJJ team with more than 600 students affiliated.
